1923 Football All-Ireland Semi-Final, Kerry v Cavan

Extract from the May 3, 1924 Kerryman report about the 1923 Football All-Ireland semi-final between Kerry and Cavan. The Kerry team that beat Cavan on that day, on the score of 1-03 to 1-02, was composed of men from both sides of the bitter political divide and for many the simple act of paying respect in unison to Michael Hogan marked the beginning of the healing process in Kerry.
