1922 New South Wales Hurling Association Advertising Poster

Colour poster advertising two ‘Grand Hurling Matches’ between New South Wales and Victoria in the Sydney Sports Ground on October 4 and 7, 1922. The poster advertises the games ‘under the auspices of The New South Wales Hurling Association.’ Gaelic football and hurling were popularised throughout Australia by Irish immigrants at the turn of the twentieth century.
