GPO Garrison at Croke Park, 1938

Approximately 350 surviving members of the GPO Garrison gathered at Croke Park on the morning of the 1938 All-Ireland Football Final (October 23, 1938) to have their photo taken at the Hill 16 end of the stadium. The group included four ministers of the then-government. Many other surviving members of the Garrison were absent as they had emigrated from Ireland.
